The short version

Who we are

This website is run by AccuCell Biotechnology, LLC, based in Brownsville, Texas, USA. For anything about this notice or your information, email contact@accucell.bio.

What we collect, and why

When you contact us

The contact form asks for your name, your email address, your organization (optional) and your message. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use this only to read your message, reply to you and continue the conversation you started.

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us, or, where you ask about working with us, taking steps at your request before an agreement.

When you visit the site

Like every website, ours is delivered by a server that briefly records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Our hosting provider processes these to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use them to identify you or build profiles.

We also count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool provided by our hosting provider. For each page viewed it records the page, the website that linked you here, your country, and your type of device, operating system and browser. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not store your IP address. Visits are grouped using a code that resets every day, so you cannot be recognised from one day to the next or across other websites. We only see totals, such as how many people visited and from which countries. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how our site is used.

Cookies and tracking

The site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Apart from the anonymous visit counts described above, it uses no analytics, and no advertising or social media tools. Its fonts, images and code are all served from our own site, so loading it sends no information to any company other than our hosting provider. Because there are no cookies, there is no cookie banner.

Who else handles your information

We use a small number of service providers, who process information only on our behalf:

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We would disclose it only if the law requires us to.

These providers may process information in the United States. Where the law requires it, they use recognised safeguards for international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as we need them to respond to you and keep a record of our conversation. We delete them sooner if you ask. Hosting logs are kept by our provider for a short period and then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Email contact@accucell.bio and we will reply within 30 days. We will never treat you differently for making a request.

Depending on where you live, for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom, California or Texas, you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

This website is meant for professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and with a strict security policy that blocks code from other websites. Access to the messages we receive is limited to the people who need to answer them.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
